We are excited to announce that we will have student travel grants available from both ACM and NSF this year for SPAA. Students enrolled in a non-US university are eligible for support from ACM, while students enrolled in a US university are eligible for support from both ACM and NSF (both cases are regardless of citizenship and visa status). The selection process for both of these funding sources will be made through one application.
Please apply at this link by Wednesday, June 25, AoE to be considered for travel support. We will get back to you ASAP within the week afterwards.
For the funds from NSF, please note the conditions in the form, especially regarding flights to be reimbursed. If you are awarded support from NSF, the easiest way is probably to submit receipts for other expenses (i.e., hotel, registration, ground transportation) if they exceed the amount of travel support. Otherwise, flight bookings must be made through Travel Inc. (full details about how to do it by phone or email will be sent with the award notification).
